Welcome To Eden,

Ages ago, humanity left Earth for the stars. Eventually, they found a paradise: Eden. And on that paradise were the Juins. In time, the colonization of Eden by humanity lead to a war between humans a Juins. In the end, the Juins lost. Hundreds of years later, Juins are secluded on their own continent and humans make up the majority of Eden's population. But over the past few years, strange occurrences were noticed all over the world. People were seen flying in the skies.

Fights took place between people that could bring down buildings. And at the center of it all is a small number of men and women with amazing abilities. Some of these people want to lead normal lives, and some plot to use the strife to wreck havoc on the world. These people are brought together by circumstance, and those virtuous enough band together, because whether they like it or not, they're Forced Heroes.

When apping a character, you have a max of eleven abilities total -- five basic abilities, five advanced abilities, and one ultimate ability. Remember that while you don't have to fill out all of them, if you don't, you have to pay for more techniques with points or acquire them through role playing. Abilities are stuff like superpowers and techniques. Here's a general idea of what should be what:

Basic Abilities
Basic, generic stuff your character can do, like shoot energy from their hands or simple spells. See below for a list of suggested basic abilities. Remember that you don't have to list stuff like being stronger than an average human -- that's implied unless stated otherwise.

Advanced Abilities
Techniques like Kamehamehas and really potent basic abilities. Transformations will usually fall under this or ultimate abilities.

Ultimate Abilities
Your character's "finishing attack", usually used in dire circumstances. This is probably gonna be hella powerful compared to the rest of your abilities.

Generic items that you character carries out, ranging from electronics to simple weapons like swords and guns. Weapons with special properties count as advanced abilities.

Stuff that generally doesn't pertain to combat -- things your character is good at. This can be anything from a particular style of martial art (the major exception to the "not usually combat" rule) to stuff like cooking.

Example Basic Abilities

Ki/Chi/Chakra Manipulation
Known by many things across many cultures, this is the ability to manipulate their natural, inner energy for a variety of effects. This can include forming energy blasts or beams. Depending on the user, these can also come from the eyes and mouth. Those who utilize more exotic energies such as magic are often capable of similar basic feats.
This is implied if your character has an advanced or ultimate ability that uses ki or whatever and doesn't have to be listed.

Using your energy to lift and propel yourself through the air at a variety of speeds as dictated by the user. By flaring their own inner power, the user could shroud themselves in their aura for an extra boost of flight speed.

Rapid Movement / Sonic Warp / Flash Step
Utilizing a surge of ki to rapidly move from one point to another; often mistaken for teleportation. This ability is short range and can't be used for long range travel. This is in contrast to traditional bouts of superhuman speed, which consist of slower, but more dynamic movements.

Force Field
The creation of a protective bubble around the user.

The ability to read minds and communicate with others in your immediate area.
This is only a basic ability if it's simple one-way or two-way communication; if you plan on having a character that's Charles Xavier with working legs, it's an Advanced Ability.

The ability to move small objects with ones mind.
The same thing as the stuff about telepathy applies for you Jean Grey wannabes.

Environmental Adaptation
The ability to survive in any environment, even if it lacks the necessary resources to sustain life, like the vacuum of space.

Energy Absorption
Absorbing energy from others and energy attacks.

Sense Ki/Energy
Detecting the natural energy of a person in order to determine their relative level of power. Certain users can even sense the intent of people, determining whether they're good or evil just by how their aura feels.

Hide Ki/Energy
Disguising your natural energy to make others with the Sense Ki ability to think you're as strong as the average person to appear as a non-threat.

Getting New Abilities

Get the required points needed for your ability(ies) of choice and purchase your ability item from the shop. In order to purchase an ability, you must demonstrate your character actually doing something that's worth gaining ability from in the first place, be it a character training extensively in a thread to develop a new technique, a side plot where the character comes up with something new, and so on. This is a site that's centered around crazy fights and explosions, so just because you did a 40 page slice of life thread doesn't mean you get to turn around and rack up a bunch of abilities at the end of it. Once you got the points and did the thread and all of the good stuff, apply for the ability using the sheet here. Abilities gained from the store will be gauged just as they are on a regular app.

Post -> Get Points -> Buy Ability -> Role Play Gaining Ability -> Apply For Ability

Based on character participation in board plots, individual side-plots, or something interesting in general can and will lead to people being awarded abilities, so just because you post slower doesn't mean you can't gain if you're constantly engaging in substantive posts and threads.

Transferring points between character accounts is not allowed
It's so not allowed that the links to do it have been removed from the store so you couldn't do it even if this rule wasn't here. Why? To prevent power stacking on a single character who'd only been put into play three times versus the other legions of characters you have at your disposal that has more threads and engagement with characters and in plots. Points are meant to be a rough measure of an individual character's progression, not just something you use to buy stuff with.

No Super Saiyans
Or transformations as strong as a Super Saiyan. They won't be accepted for the foreseeable future.
